Hard mouth ?

Is it ever possible to cure a dog of hard mouth ? I have heard all the old "barbaric" ways of stopping it like wrapping a dummy in barbed wire etc. But is there anything actually worth trying that anyone has come across?

I personally have not had experience of hard mouth in any of my own dogs, so I would be interested to hear others views on this...

I've never dealt with a hard mouth either

I have one which has a tendency to it, he is never going to be trialed or bred from so its not a problem I just wondered if anyone had any new ideas. I suspect not but who knows.
